The following is a very thorny matter and can actually only be discussed among adults. It is about lust. Lust is a term which is often wrongly understood. It does not only mean that you desire your fellow-man’s wife, but even your own wife. You will catch yourself looking at a woman fervidly and without you knowing it, you are busy with adultery. What I want is pure hearts and therefore this chapter is discussed. This concerns both sexes. I have created the sexual act so that man can procreate. What was a necessary and pure deed, was completely blown out of proportion and cannot be used for the same purposes anymore. Man is such an impure creature and everything which I have made holy, he desecrates. It is because man lends his ears to Satan. Not one of you can claim that he has never been lustful. This is something which I want to make clear now. Lust is a desire of the flesh and therefore cannot bring any benefit to the soul. Besides procreation, the sexual act is unnecessary and a waste of precious energy, which can be used for spiritual development. Among you there are those who would say: Then why were we created with such an urge? It can surely not be a sin if we were created like this? But I say: How can you become master over something, if you are not exposed to it? How can you conquer the physical urges and desires, if you do not have such urges. You must live pure and it means to live in your inner being. Not outwardly. The worldlings live outwardly. Just look around you and you will see that the emphasis is put on appearance all the time. Clothing must be stylish and tasteful – it does not matter if it is unchaste or alluring. There is no respect for the body which is the temple of My Spirit. There is nothing on the market today which is not aimed at the body. Vehicles are made as luxurious as possible, so that the body can be pleased. Aeroplanes are designed so that man can fly back and forth and can acquire possessions. Just think about everything that you can buy in today’s shops. Nothing is focussed on the spirit, everything is about the flesh. People do not ponder this. Indeed, you are created with a body and therefore it must be gratified! But if you would go and sit still and think why you have a body, you will learn a lot from it. I am here to help you with My Father Love and therefore I will tell you why you have a body. The body is a test which you have to undergo to become spirit one day. You must learn, despite urges and desires, to live in the spirit. I know it is very difficult, because once I too was on earth as a human. It will be difficult for you to believe, that I also had urges, but with My Father’s help – Who is Love, I have conquered everything and I have stepped as conqueror from the battle. Do not think that I was born without urges, because then you are making a mistake. When I say that I understand how it feels to have a body, I mean it. It is a thorny matter and each one must ponder it well, that each time when you have sexual intercourse, without the goal to beget children, you yield to the body’s desires and it causes the body to become strong in its desires and the soul forges a solid bond with the body which cannot easily be broken. In a previous chapter the body, soul and spirit were already discussed and therefore it is unnecessary to elaborate further about it. Just remember that the soul becomes attached to the body through earthly pleasure and that she will find it difficult to separate from the body after death and this then means everlasting death. And I want My children to arise to eternal life with Me and in Me, because I love you. Arm in arm I want to walk with you and I want to embrace you with a passionate embrace of My Fatherly Love. Therefore think about it before you do something again which causes too much pleasure to the body and think about it that I have warned you today. I want to help you and carry you through difficult times when the body tends to become too strong. Convey it in spirit to Me, your Saviour and Friend and tender Brother. I WILL help you where you want to be helped. You must just give Me the opportunity and I will transform you into pure creatures who are worthy of Me. And I will transform you into My pure little children, whom I love very much. Just be affectionate to Me in your hearts. But there where My help is not requested, there I will also not help, because you are free to do what you want and I respect your freedom. But you must also respect Me as your Father and Saviour Who does not say anything to you which is not to your benefit.
